Materials and detail

Each medallion is CNC-cut from high-density EPS and covered with a polyurea coating. The result copies the relief of a plaster rosette without its weight or fragility, so it is easy to hang and less likely to crack. A ceiling medallion can be made as a single piece or as a two-piece set that goes around an installed fixture, and the center opening can be sized for a ceiling light medallion or a ceiling medallion for a ceiling fan.

Styles and uses

We make classical acanthus and leaf patterns, oval rosette designs, mid century ceiling medallion shapes with clean geometry, and art nouveau rose motifs. They suit living rooms, dining rooms, hotels, restaurants and houses of worship. A medallion can also be used as a wall rosette, as a corner detail on paneling, or in the center of a coffered section. Surface finishes can be white, painted or textured, and we can match your existing plaster or molding. Designers use medallions when a ceiling needs a focal point without a major renovation. The light weight keeps installation simple, and a large medallion can be delivered in sections for lobbies and high-ceiling spaces, so access and transport are not a problem on site.
