Client testimonials
From your first idea to the final installation — our process is clear, fast, and designed to make every detail simple.
Crowned 30 entrance gate piers with these pineapple and ball finials. The classical detailing brought elegance to the whole perimeter.
Recessed seat base slid over our 8×8 stucco pier tops like a factory sleeve. Glued down with construction adhesive in ten minutes.
Stands up to harsh weather without developing the hairline frost cracks you always get with cast stone or concrete urns.
The lightweight foam construction allowed us to put large ornamental finials on top of a light pergola structure without load issues.
Takes antique copper and bronze faux finishes with remarkable realism. Everyone assumes they are solid cast metal.
Packaging on these delicate spires was phenomenal. Every fine tip arrived completely sharp and undamaged.
FAQ
What is a finial?
A finial is an ornamental piece that crowns a post, gable, newel or column, such as a ball, urn, pineapple or spire.
What is the difference between a finial and a post cap?
A post cap covers and protects the top of a post. A finial is a decorative ornament that sits on the cap or by itself.
What are your finials and caps made of?
High-density EPS covered with a polyurea hard coat that resists moisture, UV and cracking.
Can you make a cap for my post size?
Yes. Send the post dimensions, for example 4×4, 6×6 or 8×8, and we make caps and bases to fit.
Can a post cover be supplied with a cap and base?
Yes. We can supply a column wrap with a matching cap and base.
Can finials be used on balustrades and fences?
Yes. They crown newel posts, piers, gate posts and fence posts.
Are the finials suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. The coating is designed for exterior exposure.
What do you need to quote finials and caps?
Post size, quantity, style, finish and photos of the location.
